The latest design and the first big change to the RC RatRod platform is here! Here is what is included;
-ABS (black) Sedan Rat Rod Specific body, has rear inner fenders and firewall build it as well as body mounts
-PLA Floor pan/transmission mount Includes front Magnets and rear Pegs to keep the body on and easily removable.
-MJF Nylon Motor Plate (for the RC4wd TCI R4 scale transmission specifically)
-MJF Nylon front micro servo mount (recommended reefs micro 99 available in the store separately)
-2 Rear ABS Shock mounts
-1 Rear MJF Nylon Crossmember
-1 ABS Hot Rod Speed Hole Grill (specific to this chassis)
-2 Laser Cut Mild Steel Chassis Rails ( Raw metal so it will rust, and fully weldable if you like to party)
These kits are not recommended for the beginner into RC, you will have to supply your own hardware, rod ends, build your own suspension, Body work, paint and or patina the body, make your own windows(packaging from the rc4wd axles works well)
For all the specifics on what size hardware goes where, please see the youtube assembly video here: coming soon
The front axles are from tamiya 1/14 semi trucks, cheap ones are linked below on amazon, for taller tires there is a custom drop axle available on ebay here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/253258226628
Rear axles are recommended RC4wd yota 2 or k44, amazon has some yota 2 versions at a better price as well here: https://amzn.to/4daCNV7
Front suspension is designed to work with leaf springs, like the shorter ones no one uses on their TF2's and have a ton of sitting in bins.
Front suspension rods I use 100mm (available separately in store)
For this kit I recommend the long reefs servo horn or something similar, see the video on how to modify it for M3 hardware or use the R-designs or NSDRC M3 micro servo horn if you dont feel comfortable drilling out the reefs.
To adapt front 12m hex wheels to the semi spindle type axle I recommend these adapters; https://amzn.to/4dt5jTz
You will need wheels and tires of your choice, 1.9's with larger sidewall tires are what I like. This is where you can get creative mixing and matching model parts, rc, and who knows what else.
Glueing in the magnets I recommend E6000 or the gorilla glue version of it(less stringy) let the magnets and plugs fully dry before taking the body on and off!
These are running driving model cars, pulling from all over the RC hobby, get creative and Keep It Scale!
All RCeveryday kits are proudly made in the USA, body and chassis are all made in Texas!
Body comes raw print, no hardware included.
Recommended for ages 16 and up, more advanced rc engineers.

Starting back over 8 years ago I got bored with my scale crawlers and decided to think outside the kit and create my own realistic Rat Rods. Finally after years of designing and building custom cars on YouTube, I am excited to bring some products out to all of you to help you on your custom RC journey!
