Its been a long time coming! The Hot Rod builders kit is here! Whats included;
-2 laser cut mild steel '32'ish' styled chassis rails
-1front servo mount (designed for reeferc micro99 sold separately)
-1 motor plate (designed to mount only the rc4wd tci R4 trans) (works with the SSD scale engine or any custom printed scale motor)
-1 transmission tail mount (again, mounts specific to the rc4wd version of the transmission)
-1 rear frame brace with RCeveryday text on 1 side
Last 2 photos show assembled chassis with parts listed below.
This chassis is designed like a real roadster of the era, can be leaf sprung or linked suspensions, as all my kits, the suspension is all up to you to design using parts you may already have laying around from other builds. The front end can be set up high for the gasser look, or tucked down low for that street rod stance. No front shock mounts are provided with the kit, unlike the ratrod kits, this is part of the look for you to determine what works for your style. 1/18 scale shocks, leaf springs, 50mm, whatever and however you want to design it!
As for the body, I won’t be offering one printed in mjf as it is too expensive for commercial 3d printing. The chassis is designed for just about every 1/10 scale coupe or sedan body (could even use the ossum cab if you wanted a truck). Print files can be found on cults3d.com, thingiverse .com myminifactory.com as well as prints being sold from nightcrawlers3d.com the kit group page linked below will be a great resource in finding different body styles and people selling prints.
Again, all rceveryday kits are base chassis builder kits, all axles, suspension are up to you to create the vehicle the way you want it!
Not recommended for people new to the hobby, these are almost the same as building a real one, complex suspension geometry, etc. But if you have experience building 1/10 scale rock crawlers and modifying suspension setups, these suspensions are very similar to that.
All steel and printed parts are made in the USA
Below is a parts list and links to all of the other major components to build these kits. As all of my kits, no hardware is included, check the youtube assembly video for recommended sizes and locations.

Rc4wd or amazon equiv k44 or yota2 rear axle (others may be used depending on your suspension setup)

RCeveryday
Starting back over 8 years ago I got bored with my scale crawlers and decided to think outside the kit and create my own realistic Rat Rods. Finally after years of designing and building custom cars on YouTube, I am excited to bring some products out to all of you to help you on your custom RC journey!
